New look Coles is a multicultural fresh food hub for Lake Innes
Coles will offer greater choice and more freshly-baked products when it officially opens the doors to its new-look Lakes Innes supermarket next week.

The Lake Innes store will provide shoppers with a fresh market-style experience, including a continental delicatessen with a variety of local and international cheeses and a new in-store bakery with ‘naked bread’ options, which customers can pick and wrap themselves.
Coles at Lake Innes Store Manager Scott Bone explains that the new look store will offer customers in the local community greater value, more choice and added convenience.
“We have completely enhanced the customer shopping experience. In addition to our fresh new layout, we’ve introduced over 100 new product lines, including an international range to reflect the needs of the store’s vast multicultural customer base. We’re also making locals’ shopping experience more convenient, with the addition of four self-serve checkouts,” he said.
Coles will also welcome 20 new recruits to the store. The new jobs bolster the Lake Innes team to 110 members including three long-service employees Jamie White, Sue Alexander, Kylie Hanger and Sharon Young who have collectively clocked up an impressive 110 years at Coles.
Coles State General Manager Thinus Keeve said the refurbished supermarket was a sign of the supermarket’s commitment to the local community.
“We’re thrilled to continue to grow with the thriving local community in Lakes Innes. The new look supermarket is part of our commitment to delivering quality, service and value to our customers,” he said.
Officially opening its doors on Wednesday, 29 March, the Lakes Innes team will come together for a celebratory ribbon cutting and Welcome to Country ceremony.
Customers can look forward to lots of in-store activities on the day, including a performance by the Tacking Point Public School choir and face painting for the kids.
Coles at Lake Innes is located at 525 Oxley Highway. The supermarket is open from 7am - 10pm everyday.
