Coles’ dollar matching for CWA Drought Appeal tops $7.3M

20 March 2019

To support drought-affected farmers across Australia, Coles has now raised more than $7.3 million for the Country Women’s Association (CWA) Drought Appeal over the past nine months.

In August and September 2018, we raised over $7.1 million from customer donations and Coles’ dollar-for-dollar matching contributions.

Thanks to the generosity of Coles customers over the past three weeks, we have raised a further $186,892.60 for the CWA Drought Appeal through extra customer donations and dollar matching from Coles.

As a result of this latest appeal, which ends today (March 20), these funds will be distributed by the CWA as grants for drought-affected families to help cover household expenses such as school expenses, food, medical, electricity and water bills.
