Serving Statutory Notices to our registered office
In accordance with Section 109X of the Corporations Act 2001, all Statutory Notices (Subpoenas, Writs, Garnishee Orders, Notices to Produce, Orders for Production etc) served on Coles Group Limited and any subsidiary companies are required to be mailed or hand delivered to our registered office, addressed to:

Serving legal documents on Coles Group businesses
Please adhere to the instructions below when serving legal documents to Coles Group (Coles) businesses including Coles Supermarkets, Coles Local, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and our First Choice Liquor Market stores.

Our preference is for all statutory notices and legal documents (such as subpoenas and notices to produce) to be served electronically at the relevant e-mail address listed below. If electronic service is not possible, we will accept service by mail or hand delivery to our registered office:
Statutory notices and legal documents must not be sent to an individual store or site.
If a statutory notice or legal document is served electronically, a hard copy is not required to be served by hand or post. Conduct money can be paid electronically, see details in section [D].

Coles’ preference is for conduct money to be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Otherwise, conduct money can be paid by cheque or cash.
If paying conduct money by EFT, please use the following account and transaction description and include a copy of your EFT payment confirmation when serving your subpoena:

If Coles considers the conduct money is insufficient to cover its reasonable costs of compliance it may contact the issuing party to discuss the payment of its reasonable costs in relation to the retrieval, review and collation of documents and information required. Alternatively, Coles may bring an application on the return date of the subpoena for an order of the court seeking reimbursement of reasonable costs incurred.
